Today’s tip comes from Worcester where the Paul Nicholls trained SUPER FORMEN looks to have a great chance in the penultimate race of the day. This horse won on hurdles debut at Chepstow before going on to finish 2nd in his first run over fences. He then won a 4 runner beginners chase at Taunton on soft ground. We’ve been told that the horse is running extremely fit at home shows his best form on a soft surface. Nicholls is the key factor in the horses’ chances & also the mercurial Ruby Walsh has ridden him 3 times to finish 1-2-1.

Today’s tip comes from Lingfield in the 16:30 where POPPANAN takes a step back in trip and will appreciate good clip, which is likely with so many front runners in the field. He finished runner up to the useful Billy Red last month and won’t need to improve too much from that effort to land this.

Today’s tip comes from Pontefract where Mick Channon takes GALLIC STAR back down to listed level. The last time he ran in this class he finished 4th but was hampered in running. His runs in group company recently have suggested that a contest like this should be well within his compass.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where the well handicapped FIRST ORDER tries to find a bit of the form which has made him a consistent all weather performer over the years. He has won numerous times off a much higher mark and he had some terrible luck in running last time out, hampered on 3 separate occasions during the race. His trainer/jockey claims another 5lbs which makes it an even more attractive opportunity.

Today’s first tip comes from Newmarket in the big race where the ever reliable Eddie Ahern attempts to guide the previously consistant JUDGE THE MOMENT back to winning ways. Completed a hat-trick earlier on this season winning on the AW at Kempton and following up with two on the bounce at Ascot. Seems to have lost his way a little since but has been rested for almost 2 months and should come out guns blazing. Stamina should not be a problem as he is a winner over 2m 4f and if only the ground was a little bit faster would have ideal conditions..

Today’s second tip comes from Cheltenham where Emma Levelle’s KANGAROO COURT bids for his hattrick. Winner of 3 from 6 of his races already, Kangaroo Court runs for the second time this season in a field of only 4 horses. Looks like a very good opportunity to prove that he can handle the track, after disappointing in the Supreme Novices at the Festival. He has won since that poor run, with a very decent display of jumping at Lingfield and another decent win recently at Uttoxeter. Jack Doyle gets on well with the horse and takes the ride again tomorrow, with the ground in Kangaroo Court’s favour he should win this fairly easily.

Today’s tip comes from Newmarket where John Best gives INLER his race course debut. Both the owner and the trainer hold this horse in extremely high regard. Best rates him amongst the best 2-y-o horses he’s ever trained so it’s well worth taking a gamble on him today.

Today’s tip comes from Brighton where Luke Morris has an interesting runner in MISS JABBA. Word from the Fielding stable is that this horse loves a bit of give in the ground and hasn’t yet been given the opportunity to show her true potential. She ran well last time out in a race that has thrown up some recent winners and now she’s being tried at her favoured trip she’s definitely worth an each way shout at very long odds.

Today’s tip comes from Lingfield where Jimmy Quinn takes the ride on an Ed Vaughan horse, NOBLE DICTATOR, who went close in a similar event last month at Kempton. Talk at the stable after the race was that he wasn’t at his best after being slightly hampered and perhaps should have been winning that one. That was only his second attempt at this trip so improvement can still be made. He is also still on a nice mark, only up 2lb from last time out and on the same mark from a win back in November last year.

Today’s tip comes from Newcastle where RISING SHADOW has a great record, winning three times, placed twice and 4th twice out of seven runs. Her last win here came in a Listed race off a mark of 103 on Good To Soft ground so today’s going shouldn’t be a problem. Is drawn 17/17 and if the normal draw bias occurs here then this horse has the best draw available and will stand an even better chance. Has not run too well this season but her best effort came LTO when 3/13 at Ayr. Runs off a mark 1lb lower today and also has a 5lb claimer on board so she is definately well weighted considering her last win came off 93 and with the claimer is technically running off a mark of 69 today.

Today’s tip comes from Windsor where Sylvester Kirk is blooding a 2-y-o colt by the name of EREBUS. Half-brother to Statute Book, triple 1m winner at 3, half-sister to Muhab, quite useful dual 6-7f winner at 2. Family of 1,000 Guineas winner Fairy Footsteps. The pedigree reads quite well and we’ve heard that a big run is expected at extremely long odds. Well worth getting involved.
