Today’s tip comes from Taunton where a three time hurdle winner returns to jump racing for the first time in a year and a half. Formerly with Alan King, MEXICAN BOB he hasn’t been seen over hurdles since April 2008 but won 3 times in that season, most notably over this course and distance. The horse showed that he retains plenty of ability when winning on the Flat at Beverley for his current trainer Charlie Longsdon in August. I think a case can be made to view him as very well treated, with the potential to progress further. So, the decision to make is whether he can reproduce his previous fairly useful hurdle form after such a long absence in this sphere. With the stable going well, I think the horse is definitely worth chancing at reasonable odds.
