Today’s tip comes from Fontwell where TAKE THE BREEZE drops in class and has the ground perfect for his challenge. The heavier the better is the case with this horse and recent rainfall has churned the ground up nicely. Been performing credibly at a higher level than this recently and is running off a favourable mark today. Only question mark is the untried distance of 2m 6f but he should have the stamina to outstay the small field of 3 other horses.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where the often imperious MADISON DU BERLAIS lines up against rivals who simply don’t measure up to the class and performances he has shown throughout his career. A cracking second place in the King George, only finding Kauto Star too good, shows he still retains plenty of ability. The odds today look favourable and the introduction of cheek pieces could prove a big positive.

Today’s tip comes from Wolverhampton where DECIDER returns to his favourite course and distance again. In general his form over the years has been patchy but it’s always been profitable to back him to make the frame in 5f races at Wolverhampton. Third LTO over the same C&D, he shouldn’t be too far away today.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where the ever game HITS ONLY JUDE hopes to add to his nice array of C&D performances. Winner of the corresponding race last year, he has recently been campaigned over further trips of 7/8f but 6f remains his optimum distance. With 3 course and distance wins to his name already, he looks a safe bet to at least make the frame in a 6 horse field.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where the highly progressive SUTTON VENY goes for a well deserved hattrick. Didn’t show immense promise at the very start of her career but recent wins have been completed in a very impressive style and trainer Jeremy Gask holds her in high esteem. Front running tactics should suit this race very well and I doubt the handicapper has hold of her yet.

Today’s tip comes from Taunton where an interesting runner from the Brennan stable re-emerges after 2 years off the course. HERALD ANGEL has not been on a race course since April 2008 when he finished an uninspiring 4th over an inadaquate trip. Today’s trip of 3m has conjured a good run out of him in the past and his trainer says the horse has been performing brilliantly at home, hence his recent entries. Could go in at long odss.

Today’s tip comes from Wolverhampton where the plucky MUTAJAASER looks to finally cast off his maiden tag. Always a fast starter of races, he is slowly learning to pace himself better over the course. The field today doesn’t hold too many major concerns and with Pat Cosgrave on board today he has a good pilot. Great chances of making the frame today.

Today’s tip comes from Haydock where ERNST BLOFELD has to forget about his unlucky fall LTO and bounce back to winning ways. Although running well at Cheltenham last month, a blunder brought his race to a premature end. Prior to that he has not finished outside of the top three in his whole career. Handles heavy ground and is a two time distance winner. Lots of positives.

Today’s tip comes from Sandown where the Martin Keighley trained ANY CURRENCY looks to maintain his impressive record over fences. This horse was unlucky to finish 2nd four times last season over hurdles but always gave the impression he was capable of winning races. He has been equally impressive since taking to fences, landing two wins and three places from five runs. Looks good in the weights today and has a great chance of continuing the rich vein of form.
