Today’s tip comes from York where Marcus Tregoning decides to run the talented AAJEL, despite drying ground. After expressing concerns about the going during the last meet here, he was cautious with the safety for his horse. However, the horse runs today off the back of a pleasing reappearance LTO in a group race at Ascot, being headed in the final 100yds and going down by half a length. Although lightly raced, this grey has three career wins to his name and a handful of placed finishes. He has the talent to blitz this race today, if he is in good heart. Tregoning holds the horse in high regard and wouldn’t run him unless he felt he was performing well.
