Today’s tip comes from Musselburgh where LOCKANTANKS aims to take advantage of a good mark and favourable conditions. This Compton Place gelding has been tried at various trips recently and the results suggest that he will enjoy the return to 7f today. He has slipped 8lb in the handicap because of these performances and this gives him a great chance in today’s race. The Haynes stable has hit a bit of form recently so it won’t be a surprise to see this one in the mix.

Today’s tip comes from Haydock where Richard Hannon looks to add another race to this season’s already glowing portfolio. GENE AUTRY has looked a likeable horse in his career starts to date. Hannon has a pretty high opinion of this lightly-race Zavata colt, who opened his account on the last of three maiden starts in 2009. LTO he was touched off in a pacey affair at Warwick but the ground was unsuitable. Back on firmer ground today he should be able to defy a 4lb hike in the weights and justify favouritism.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where REWILDING prepares to make his UK debut. He has a couple of second placed finishes over in France, including one LTO in a Group 2 race at Longchamp. It is difficult to assess that form but Godolphin hink very highly of him and they send him out today with Dettori on board. If that race translate to near Group 2 quality, he will hack up today.

Today’s tip comes from Brighton where Michael Wigham ventures down to the south coast with his eyes on another win. He is a master at placing horses and has a great record with runners 4-y-o and over at Brighton. MULTAHAB has dropped to a good mark, one which he has won from before. He has a 3lb claimer on board to help his cause and his record round Brighton is very impressive. Word is that he should run a good race today.

Today’s tip comes from Bath where FULL VICTORY aims to go one better than LTO and add to his spate of career wins falling in May. The horse thrives at this time of year and was a shade unfortunate when failing by a neck over C&D last Wednesday. He has given a chance by the handicapper having slipped to a mark of 64 and is able to race off that same mark today. 4 of his 5 wins have come in the month of May, including a win in the equivalent race last year, and he should be able to add to that today.

Today’s tip comes from Newmarket where ROYAL DIAMOND reverts to his favourite trip in a bid to get staright back to winning ways. This horse was in champagne form last year, notching up a four timer over today’s trip. Disappointed LTO off a 3lb higher mark and at an inadaquate trip. The drying ground should be a positive and he should be able to get competitive again, on these terms.

Today’s tip comes from Newbury where Mick Channon bids to land this race for the 5th time in 10 years. GOLDEN SHINE was let down by inexperience when favourite on her debut. She finished third that day and went on to win a muddling race LTO at Warwick. Connections have high hopes for her today and, under the calm steering of Alan Munro, she should take a lot of beating today.

Today’s tip comes from York where JUDGE AND JURY aims to land another big field handicap. Has dropped to a mark which is certainly winnable (6lb lower than his career highest win) and acts very well on this ground. The 5f trip is perfect and he already has 8 career wins over this distance. The big field should bring the best out of him and he could score at double figure odds.

Today’s tip comes from York where Sir Michael Stoute unveils the lightly raced IMPOSING after a long layoff. The stable is in top form at the moment and it’s very significant that they have stuck with this son of Danehill Dancer during his layoff. Last seen when being pipped to the post at Newmarket in April 2009. His style is seemingly suited by the longer trip and shouldn’t find the ground an issue. Should be available at a good price because of the lay-off but has a great chance today.
