Today’s tip comes from Leicester where ELECTRIC CITY drops into selling company. Mick Quinlan’s charge produced her best effort for some time when runner-up over 1m2f at Ayr recently and the drop to selling company could see the three-year-old open her account.

Today’s tip comes from Ffos Laas where WESTWOOD looks the pick of some in-form horses. He couldn’t have been more impressive when landing the spoils on the fibresand at Southwell last time and could take some stopping off a 7lb higher mark here. Dane O’Neill is a great front running jockey and he should get the run of the race today.

Today’s tip comes from Yarmouth where it could pay to follow Sir Mark Prescott’s ALLANNAH ABU, who is obviously on an upward curve. Had a bit of a hopeless time of it, at the start of his career, running on polytrack but enjoyed some real improvement after a long break. Now running with great credit on turf, landing a fast paced affair at Catterick LTO. Raised 6lbs for that win but drops down a grade today and should justify favouritsm.

Today’s tip comes from Newton Abbot where Tony Newcombe rolls out LOMITAAR after an extended break. The horse began his career running with great credit in bumpers, staying on late to place twice on testing ground. Inexperience really took its toll when he was introduced to hurdles and he was pulled up LTO at Taunton. Will be fresh after a long break though and the trainer has obviously been putting in some good work with the horse at home. Today’s tissue price of 80/1 is shortening by the minute and this looks very good each way value.

Today’s tip comes from Ripon where Sir Michael Stoute only has one runner. MUSHREQ has plenty in hand at the weights with some of his older but lower rated rivals, and was an impressive winner a fortnight ago at Nottingham. He has been raised 9lbs for that win, where he was eased down towards the finish and still won by over 3l, but Martin Lane claims 3lbs back. The trip is in his favour and he could be open to more improvement.

Today’s tip comes from Epsom where SILENT APPLAUSE goes for a quick double. shortly after returning from a year off the track. He is up 4lb for his success here but won more cosily than the winning distance would suggest and the experience of scoring at this track is a big bonus. This is his optimum trip, he’s in top form at present and should take all the beating.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where Richard Hills teams up with Sir Michael Stoute on SERHAAL. The horse has been held in higher regard than his performances have justified but is thrown a mark of 70 for his handicap debut. This looks workable and he is also unexposed over 1m. He has found himself slightly outpaced in previous races so it is likely that the extra distance will suit.

Today’s tip comes from Beverley where TILLIETUDLEM looks to be on a lenient mark considering his recent successes. Jim Goldie has placed the pick tremendously well this season, seeing him win five of his last six starts, and only just being touched off here in the other. Two miles on fast ground is ideal and that cosy half-length win last time marks him out as being good enough again today.

Today’s tip comes from Nottingham where KRYPTON FACTOR needs only a modest amount of improvement to land this. Stepped up from a respectable Wolverhampton debut to score LTO at Hamilton. He wandered all over the place that day and the win was better than the margin of victory suggested. Will need Seb Sanders to be strong with him today but with the trip and ground in his favour, he looks set for a big run.

Today’s tip comes from Ayr where Joseph O’Brien has the best mount in a good apprentice handicap. Although the opposition is respectable, GRAMS AND OUNCES has the best form in the race, most notably his 2nd placed finish LTO in a tough handicap at Haydock. Son of A P O’Brien, the jockey is a very talented young man and should have enough tactical expertise to ensure this horse justifies favouritism.
