He was in with every chance until falling at the last at Ayr last month, something which hasn’t escaped the attention of the handicapper who has put him up 5lb. Today’s tip comes from Ffos Las where PATMAN DU CHARMIL has a big chance today if putting his best foot forward again. This veteran gelding bounced back from a spell in the doldrums to score over 2m5f at Southwell last time and he still looks feasibly handicapped despite an 8lb rise for that success. He is possibly not the most reliable performer but he certainly worth a chance today.

DUBAI HILLS has been a revelation on the Fibresand at Southwell in recent months, racking up a four-timer over this trip. He is unproven on Polytrack, but in a race of this nature, where he races off level weights against inferior rivals, this shouldn’t prove a problem.
