Today’s tip comes from Plumpton where the mercurial ELLEN TILLEY aims to rediscover the form which led her to a brace of impressive wins over hurdles. After an unfortunate injury in a hot handicap last March she hasn’t seen much of a race course. However, recent runs at home suggest that she may be capable of getting very competitive off a mark of 116.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where the relatively unexposed KRISTALLO looks to complete a double of course and distance wins. Racing off the same mark as LTO when he responded well to Dane O’Neill’s late encouragement, he has only raced twice on the all weather. With question marks over some of his rivals, he could return at a good price.

Today’s tip comes from Newbury where the imperious DIAMOND HARRY is given his second run out over fences. The odds are gonna be short but this horse is real class act, winning 8 out of his first 10 races. He took to fences extremely well LTO and the increase in trip shouldn’t prove any obstacle to him blasting away his 3 rivals today.

Today’s tip comes from Wolverhampton where METAL GURU aims to put some disappointing recent runs at Southwell behind him. Despite some poor showings of late he has an excellent record at Wolverhampton, winning two out of his last 4 races over C&D. Tom Queally takes the ride today and he should prove an excellent ally for Reg Hollinshead’s mount, who has great each way chances today.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where ELUSIVE WARRIOR looks to add another win to his recent run of good results at this course. From the last 5 runs at Southwell he has posted 2 wins and 3 second places. Although raised 2lb for his last run, Declan Cannon takes off a useful 5lb. This puts him at a mark lower than his last win here, only a month ago. Should go well again today.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where HARLECH CASTLE goes for a three timer at a course he clearly loves. Fresh off the back of a cracking win LTO over this course and distance, today’s hike in class shouldn’t represent a big problem. The race this horse won last month has produced a couple of winners already so the form is well franked. Raised only 1lb for that win, he meets today’s rivals on good terms. He’s handled this class of race before and should justify his favourite tag today.

Winner of a grade two contest LTO at Lingfield, the horse is clearly in good heart. Suited by soft ground and partnered by a good jockey in Barry Geraghty, the others should find this horse too good today.
