Today’s tip comes from Epsom where SILENT APPLAUSE goes for a quick double. shortly after returning from a year off the track. He is up 4lb for his success here but won more cosily than the winning distance would suggest and the experience of scoring at this track is a big bonus. This is his optimum trip, he’s in top form at present and should take all the beating.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where SCORN looks to step up from four consecutive second placed finishes. Some horses can’t win, but they never finish out of the places. It’s unclear which category this horse falls into but while she’s in this sort of form, it could pay to stick with her. The trip isn’t a problem, neither is the ground, and the race is of a lower class than the one she almost landed LTO. Despite the price being prohibitive, backing her to finish in the top two is still a good bet.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where SPEED DATING looks to chalk up a quick fire win before being reassessed. This horse goes very well on the all-weather, winning two out of his last four and coming second in the others. Traditionally he travels very well throughout the race before swooping late to claim the spoils. The front running Grey Granite should set a good pace and enable jockey Seb Sanders to time his run to perfection.

Today’s tip comes from Ascot where the John Dunlop trained BERLING looks to continue his upward curve. Built on his promising debut, over an inadaquate trip at Goodwood, to land a 6 runner handicap at Folkestone. That was over 10f and an increase to 11f brought further improvement, helping him to score in a great race LTO at Newbury. He swerved violently in the home straight but still had enough talent to recover and win very cosily. Today’s increase to 12f is expected to bring further improvement and we could see this horse go on to achieve even bigger things.

Today’s tip comes from Salisbury where the clearly progressive FEATHERED CROWN gives 12f a try. Despite being beaten with the final furlong at a shorter trip LTO, he has previously shown signs of needing a bit further. He came unstuck at 14f so this trip of 12f could coax even further improvement from him.

Today’s tip comes from Epsom where REWILDING looks like a very exciting prospect. Highly progressive in three starts for master French trainer Andre Fabre, this son of Tiger Hill waltzed to a listed victory at Goodwood on his UK debut. He has a great temperament, sure to stay the distance and has plenty of class. Expect a big gamble on him today.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where course specialist LUCKY PUNT is sure to make another bold bid for victory. Lost little in defeat LTO when beaten by the talented Stanstill. Gets to run off the same mark today, at a C&D where he has not lost yet. Fergus Sweeney takes the ride again and he has a great relationship with the horse. Should get very competitive today.

Today’s tip comes from Catterick where SLIP drops down two classes into a fairly weak race. Ran with tremendous credit LTO when finishing 3rd in a class 4 handicap at Ffos Las. Has won both previous starts at class 6 level and is effective over this trip. His rivals are fairly uninspiring today and given his recent form, he should win.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where SPRUCE is thrown into listed company after completing a handicap 4 timer. The standard of the handipcaps has admitedly been pretty weak but then again, so is tonight’s field. The horse has been rapidly improving and posting big winning margins. Jimmy Quinn has recently spoken of the horse’s quality and it’s a positive that he takes the ride again tonight. Definitely worth a bet at he odds.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where a prolific horse bids for a quick fire all weather hatrick. SHADOWS LENGTHEN has won 2 handicaps in the past week and has a real chance of completing the treble today. A double penalty makes things tougher but Easterby has partnered the horse with a smart apprentice in James Sullivan, who takes 7lbs off today. This means he is 1lb lower than his win LTO and that could make the difference today.
