Today’s tip comes from Carlisle where it’s worth taking a chance on DOUBLE EAGLE. Jason Maguire’s mount has been chasing recently but turned in a couple of decent efforts back over hurdles last month. He finished second in a Grade 2 hurdle at Sandown in his youth and if he could recapture just some of that form, would take all the beating here.

Today’s tip comes from Ffos Las where INVICTUS looks the one to beat for an in-form Alan King stable. He appeared to have the race at his mercy when jinking and unseating ‘Choc’ Thornton having jumped the second last (rider lost iron) at Leicester 23 days ago and he’s now effectively a winner without a penalty.

Today’s tip comes from Huntingdon where SILVER DOLLARS looks like he will play a big part in proceedings. This veteran grey was at the peak of his game around the turn of the year, following up a narrow Warwick win with a runaway success over this C&D. He’s up 6lb in the ratings following that latest triumph but seems to handle any ground and can complete the hat-trick.

Today’s tip comes from Chepstow where connections for NAJCA DE THAIX are aiming to strike again while the iron is hot. John Spearing’s veteran gelding has won two of his last three starts, readily scoring over 2m5f in soft ground at Leicester last month and he’s really well treated racing under a 7lb penalty today.

Today’s tip comes from Southwell where KASBADALI could have his measure of his market rival. This bumper winner made a bright start to his hurdling career when runner-up behind the exciting Dare Me (who has won again since) at Exeter last month and he’s sure to come on a great deal for that experience.

Today’s tip comes from Plumpton where a previous winner of this race looks to have decent claims. 2008 winner HIGH OSCAR returned to form over 2m6f at Fontwell last month and another 3lb might not stop him following up.

Today’s tip comes from Fontwell where PARAZAR looks to take advantage of a drop in trip. The five-year-old is moving in the right direction and just flattened out in the closing stages when beaten only 5-lengths into fourth over an extended 2m6f here latest. Dropped in both trip and grade today, he could prove up to the task.

Today’s tip comes from Worcester where MAD JACK DUNCAN receives a good deal of weight from his rivals. He has been raised 9lb for his success over 2m7f here last month but looks progressive and can make it 3 from 4 for the season.

Today’s tip comes from Market Rasen where MISSION CONTROL makes his chase debut. He’s won three of his six starts over timber and should take some stopping here if he puts in a clear round. He has most of these rivals comfortably beaten over hurdles and will sew this one up if he takes to the bigger obstacles.

Today’s tip comes from Aintree where ENTERTAIN ME goes back into a handicap at a ridiculous price. Horses at 20/1 usually have huge gaps in their form but this talented mare is in great heart. Despite a 6th place finish LTO over an inadaquate trip, she won a maiden hurdle by 5l on her penultimate start. She has a 10lb claimer on board making his debut and that obviously contributes to the odds but the horse looks extremely well weighted and should find the trip/ground much to her liking.
