Today’s tip comes from Ffos Las where PATMAN DU CHARMIL has a big chance today if putting his best foot forward again. This veteran gelding bounced back from a spell in the doldrums to score over 2m5f at Southwell last time and he still looks feasibly handicapped despite an 8lb rise for that success. He is possibly not the most reliable performer but he certainly worth a chance today.

Today’s tip comes from Cheltenham where the manner of SHAKALAKABOOMBOOM’s 3m win at Taunton last time suggests he’s the one to be on. Although he’s up 6lb for his second successive victory over fences, he looks open to further improvement and could still be ahead of the handicapper.

Today’s tip comes from Cheltenham where, all things considered, SWAY looks the one to be on. Jonjo O’Neill’s ex-French recruit is improving with each run and carries a nice racing weight with her mares allowance.

Today’s tip comes from Cheltenham where REBEL DU MAQUIS’ recent record suggests he is well up to landing this. Second in his first two starts over fences in France, he’s unbeaten over the bigger obstacles this season and should have the measure of his rivals today.

Today’s tip comes from Wincanton where I’M A LEGEND is more than useful in his grade at his best. He was on top form last time when comfortably reeling in Woodlark Island and it is worth taking the chance that he will reproduce that level of form here.

Today’s tip comes from Ludlow where the race depends heavily on the form of NATIONAL TRUST. The horse has presumably not been the easiest to train, but he’s the class act here having been successful off a mark of 117 in March. Although he was disappointing over fences last time, he will take all the beating if turning up at the top of his game today.

Today’s tip comes from Punchestown where the talented KANGAROO COURT looks a good proposition if his jumping holds up. Has looked a very smart horse from his second race when he blitzed the field in a novices hurdle at Doncaster. Went on to record some impressive wins over both hurdles and fences. Has lost his way of late and has been a victim of some fairly catastophic jumping errors but if he has a good round today, he’ll be more than a match for the other horses in this race.

Today’s tip comes from Plumpton where the mercurial ELLEN TILLEY aims to rediscover the form which led her to a brace of impressive wins over hurdles. After an unfortunate injury in a hot handicap last March she hasn’t seen much of a race course. However, recent runs at home suggest that she may be capable of getting very competitive off a mark of 116.

Today’s tip comes from Kempton where Alan King gives a rare run to LAKE LEGEND in the 13:20. This 6 y-o doesn’t see a race course as often as his ability should dictate but King has obviously found an opening today which he knows he can exploit. The horse has had 5 races over hurdles and prevailed on 3 occasions, finishing second on another. He acts on all types of ground and has won at today’s distance. It is significant that King is wheeling him out today and despite the field being large, a big run is expected. Wayne Hutchinson takes the ride today and he has won on the horse twice before. All boxes ticked.

Today’s tip comes from Newbury where a smart horse on the flat looks to open his account over hurdles. ERMINE SEA is potentially well treated now handicapping and his recent third on the flat at Ascot particularly caught the eye. This was not an isolated piece of form however as he had already shown a bit of promise whilst with John Gosden. He has had three runs over hurdles, placing on each occasion and displaying enough ability to think he could be up to the task of defying today’s mark of 115.
