He shaped encouragingly over 1m 2f at Newmarket earlier this month while trainer, Andrew Balding, is looking to make it two wins in three attempts at this race having landed it in 2008 with Buccellati. Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where RELATIVE STRENGTH should strip a bit fitter than his return last month. Came up short LTO when favourite at Kempton. That was a longer trip, on the polytrack and his first race back after a long layoff. Today’s race is similar to a race he claimed third in last year but this time he is 8lb lower in the handicap and could be poised to land the spoils at good odds.
