Today’s tip comes from Lingfield where Ted Durcan jumps aboard a Godolphin horse with a very bright future. SAHARA KINGDOM looked a horse with fantastic talent when making a winning debut at Lingfield last month and he returns to the same course today with connections full of confidence that a double can be completed. Trained by Saeed bin Suroor, the two-year-old son of Cozzene runs in the Eastwell Manor Novice Stakes over seven furlongs under Ted Durcan. It was over the same course and distance four weeks ago that Sahara Kingdom justified favouritism on his racecourse bow, running on strongly to win by more than three lengths from his toiling rivals. This horse has been talked about in racing circles for a long time and although the odds are going to be soul destroying, in a four horse field this is very easy money.
