Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where Amanda Perrett’s filly comes here seeking a hat-trick win. MIRROR LAKE did everything that was asked of her LTO, winning with plenty in hand. Although unproven on soft ground, but everything else looks to be in her favour and she is taken to continue on an upward curve.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where Henry Cecil brings a Group 1 contender to mix it in Group 3 class. It is hard to see past JACQUELINE QUEST following her runners-up effort in the 1000 Guineas and her bronze medal in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot last month. First passed the post at Newmarket before being disqualified and placed second, it is hard to argue that she doesn’t deserve her day in the sun and she clearly sets the standard in a race that has been dominated by three-year-olds in recent years.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where FLYING CLOUD looks well weighted against her rivals. She had to settle for second best behind Chinese White in the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes over 1m2f at the Curragh last month but that was a solid effort nonetheless and, with this trip likely to suit, she has a big chance this afternoon. On official ratings she has 8lb in hand over the next best rated horse, which could prove very important.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where AIR CHIEF MARSHALL comes here in very good form. After his maiden win at Gowran last spring, the horse endured a rocky spell. This came to a spectacular close when he landed a contest at Dundalk, trotting up by 15 lengths. He followed up with a cosy success in a Group 3 at the Curragh and although he’s up in class again, the Irish raider looks on an upward curve and looks the one to beat here.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where SCORN looks to step up from four consecutive second placed finishes. Some horses can’t win, but they never finish out of the places. It’s unclear which category this horse falls into but while she’s in this sort of form, it could pay to stick with her. The trip isn’t a problem, neither is the ground, and the race is of a lower class than the one she almost landed LTO. Despite the price being prohibitive, backing her to finish in the top two is still a good bet.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where REWILDING prepares to make his UK debut. He has a couple of second placed finishes over in France, including one LTO in a Group 2 race at Longchamp. It is difficult to assess that form but Godolphin hink very highly of him and they send him out today with Dettori on board. If that race translate to near Group 2 quality, he will hack up today.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where RELATIVE STRENGTH should strip a bit fitter than his return last month. Came up short LTO when favourite at Kempton. That was a longer trip, on the polytrack and his first race back after a long layoff. Today’s race is similar to a race he claimed third in last year but this time he is 8lb lower in the handicap and could be poised to land the spoils at good odds.

Today’s tip comes from Goodwood where we are going to give RANSOM NOTE the benefit of the doubt on his last run at Doncaster. Slowly into stride, the horse was held up before making good headway 2f out. He kept on inside final furlong without reaching the leaders and was eased towards finish. That was a better quality event and previously he had shaped with considerable promise, winning a tasty maiden at Chester. The horse has been steadily back this morning and it is worth getting on before the odds shorten even further.
