Despite being near the tail end of his career he has still been racing at a high level and today’s drop into class 2 could be what’s needed to get him back into the winner’s enclosure. His performance in the National was uninspiring but he was fairly game off of this mark in a similar affair LTO at Perth. The trip holds no fears, neither does the ground and at this level, off this mark (23lb than his last win), he can at least run into the places.
