Charlie Mann’s gelding was flattered to win buy 61 lengths at Wincanton last month, having been left clear at the last, but he looked to be getting the better of the argument at that stage anyway and a 5lb rise in the ratings doesn’t look too harsh.

He ran an encouraging race LTO at Folkestone, finishing second, and should love the conditions today.
